SHUNTER, RUN OVER.. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) TIMARU, July 17. A. H. Matthews, aged 22 years, a railway porter, when engaged in shunting operations at the station yard this afternoon, junijjed from the cowcatcher of the engine on which he was riding and was run over by a truck which was being shunted on an adjoining line. Both legs were almost severed above the knee. He was taken to hospital where both legs were amputated.
