The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day: The indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong, tUid backing by west to south ; the weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain probable; barometer falling, hut rising after about 24 to 36 hours; sea rough: tides good.
