CANTEEBURY MARKETS. CHRISTCHURCH, July 15. There is practically nothing new to report on the week-end review except that the potato position is weaker. A report was current to-day that the Koromiko was due to arrive later in the month from Victoria, and was bringing 1000 tons. This would mean, on top of the Wairuna’s consignment with further impending shipments from Australia, a sufficiency of supplies for Auckland until the first week in August, and to that extent the local demand is affected. Values at present are £5 10s f.o.b. sacks in, or £4 5s on trucks. It is reported that Tasmanian potatoes have been offered at a lower price than last week. Millers report there is no more locally grown wheat to be secured, and recent importations were very welcome. There is no change to report in the other branches of produce. AUCKLAND SHARE MARKET.
