The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that lor the 24 hours from a.m. to-day -the indications are for. northerly winds, moderate to 'strong prevailing and freshening. There is a prospect of fan* to cloudy, weather, with increasing haze an<r cloudiness. The barometer has a falling tendencv. Seas moderate; tides poor.
