IV ild stories of terrible bloodshed in vSao Paulo are reaching here, despite the Government assurances that the rebellion has practically been crushed. Two tourists declare that the number killed exceeds 2000, They allege that the rebels have a well-trained army of 20,000 ready to march towards ‘Rio de Janeiro when the opportunity arrives.—Sydney Sun Cables.
