CABINET RESIGNATION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT PEKIN, July 2. The resignation of Sun Pao Cbii from the Cabinet is believed to be due to the possibility of a revival of the question of the payment of the French Boxer indemnity in gold francs now that the Chino-Rnssian and Chino-German agreements have been signed. Sun Pao Chi .had given a pledge to Parliament not to agree thereto, while the Finance Ministers favours the settlement.— Reuter.
