A Chicago telegram gays that the airplanes inaugurating the New YorkSan Francisco mail service to-day are beating the schedules. Owing to the lieavy mail, two left New York instead of one, and left Chicago to-night about 6.30. One from San Francisco left Cheyenne somewhat later. The aviators are guided at night % overlapping ,pools jof light from; beacons, which circle the horizons, intercepting each other. The planes are equipped with high-powered lights for forced landings. The aviators are working in relays, nine being used to make the entire distance.
