Determined Suicide.
'Per Press Association.)
Wellington, This day.
Antonio Beauchim, a man of about fifty years of age, committed suicide-at Newtown yesterday afternoon. He was draughtsman in the Lands and Survey Department, and appeared to to be in very comfortable circumstances. Deceased, who had been very ill from influenza, came home in the afternoon, and being in an irritable state of mind, commenced to quarrel with his wife, who eventually ran outside and a neighbour came in. Beauchim went into another room, saying " Ah ! I will kill myself altogether 1 " The neighbour did not pay much attention to the remark, but shortly afterwards heard a revolver shot, and rushing into the room found Beauchim lying on the sofa quite dead. He had placed the weapon to his ear and shot himself straight through the head.
