YACHTING.
WINS FOR NEW ZEALAND. (Per Press Association.— Copyright). (Received Dec. 13, 11. a.m.) Melbourne, This day. The twenty-two mile yacht race was won by Palmer's New Zealand yacht Uira, beating Lord Brassey's Ellen by 15 minutes. The owners sailed their respective crafts. Chapman, a Dunedin sculler, easily defeated Brown, the local sculler, who was the only other entrant, for the sculling championship of Victoria. The Mercantile Club won the four-oared championship.
