One firm admits sending 800 rifles and a ton of ammunition via the Persian Gulf for mauy months. Nov. 17. The letters of Said Akbar, one of the leading Indian frontier tribesmen seized by the British, includes one from Hadda Mullah, instigator of the revolt. It contains an appeal to the tribesmen declaring that the present is the time to strike a blow for Islam.
