Marino paid £4 Sis in the Welter at Ricearton on Saturday. Violence, Clarence, and Coastguard filled the places in the Steeplechase, the winner returning £2 10s. Blazer defeated Gold Medallist and seven others in the Electric ; div., £l2 6s. The Farewell was won by Vedette; div., L 5 16s. At the sale of racing stock at Christchurch this morning the following were disposed of : —Beauty Sleep, Mr Hobbs, 3ugns ; b.c. Cignet (Medallion — H. Goodman, 50gns ; ch c.
