Tbe Presbyterian Assembly decided for the preseut to maintain the maritime service. Instead of relying on the mission steamer Dayspring, the interest on the money in hand for the new Dayspring is to be used for this purpose. An amendment that the new Dayspring be not built was negatived by a large majority. The Assembly appointed the Rev. McMillan and Meicklejohn and Mr Anderson a deputation to represent the Church of Victoria at the Otago Church Jubilee in March next.
