NOT GUILTY. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Assoc i a fioti.) Invercat.gill, Sept. 22. The Supreme Court was occupied all day with the hearing of the charge of conspiracy to procure abortion against Caroline Matthews and Richard W. Hall. The jury after half-an-hour's retirement returned a verdict of not guilty. The defence was that Hall simply consulted Dr Ton-ance to attend Mrs Matthews in the event of a natural miscarriage.
