AN IRATE BISHOP.
A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL ENCOMMUNICATED. (ZVc Press Association. — Copyright.) Madrid, Sept. 19. The Bishop of- Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, belonging to Spain, has excommunicated Don -Juan Navarro Reverter, Spanish Minister, and several Government officials for interfering with parochial property and priests in the island. Cardinal Sandra, of Valencia, forebade the promulgation of the ban of excommunication, but the bishop refused to obey the Cardinal.
