THE SCOTCH DEFAULTER.
A BIG LIST OF DEFALCATIONS. (Per Pres* Awin'i-rn. —t) Melbourne. This day. Starrock, the Scotch defaulter, has been extradited. The detective who who came to take him back to Kilmarnock states there are twenty-two charges acaii.st accused of embezzling monejs from the British Linen Company Bank. These involve a total sum of £20,000 and other sums are involved which bring the total amount of money missing up to £50,000.
