ONE CONVICTION RECORDED. [By Telegraph.] (P<r "Press Association.) Wellington, This day. A licensee of a hotel to-day was fined £2 and costs for selling alcohol to a child under 13. The Magistrate held that though the liceasee was unaware of the sale or had instructed his servants not to sell to children he w T as still liable. Two informations against other licensees were dismissed as the child was unable to locate where the purchases were made.
