NEARLY DROWNED.
THE EMPEROR WILLIAM RESCUED FROM A LAUNCH. [Per Press Association.—Copyright.) Berlin, June 25. The Emperor William, in attempting to proceed yesterday in a launch from his yacht the Hohenzollern to the steamer Columbia, off Cuxhaven, had a narrow escape of drowning. The sea drove the launch against the yacht, damaging the launch, which began to sink. The Emperor and those on board were rescued in a boat sent from the yacht.
