[By Telegraph.] (Pit Press Association.) Ciiristchurch, This day. The Conciliation Board is sitting to-day in the matter of a dispute between the Federated Bootmakers' Union and the non-associated ployers, the latter having refusetUß accept and work under and abid&by the Arbitration Court award of Dec. 3, 1896, respecting the condition of labor, general rule and employment of apprentices, and pay prices and extras for work done as agreed upon. Both sides are fully represented. Later. The Board decided that, as the employers had union hands in their employ at the time the dispute was lodged, they came within the jurisdiction of the Board, which gave them till Monday next to accept or reject the award of the Arbitration Court. -
