Major Sommerville has finally selected the team which he takes to represent New Zealand at Bisley as follows : Richardson (Dunedin) ; Simpson and Banks (ChrLstchnrch); A. Ballinger (champion), Williams, Howe, and Hawthorne (Wellington ; Stracban (Wanganui ; Hazard and. Webster (Auckland). King, of Oamaru, one of the mo-: prominent shots in the colony, states that he in unable to leave until the Rimutaka, but po--ibly he may \e: be able to join the team which sails from Lyttelton at 1 o (.lock on Thursday next in the Ruabine. Martini-Henri rifles will not be wanted, as all matches will be fired with the Lee-Metlord.
