Championship Regatta.
(By Telegraph.) (Per Press Association.) Picton, This day. At the Championship Regatta there was smooth water. The following are the results : Champion Sculls —Chapman, Christchurch, 1; McCormick. Picton, 2; Sergeant, Wellington, 3. Champion Fours—Queen's Drive, Port Chalmers, 1; Stars, Wellington, 2 ; Port Chalmers, HMaiden Fours Wellington Rowing Club, 1. Champion Double Sculls Wairewa Boating Club, Christ-church, 1; Picton, 2 ; Stars, 8. Junior Fours —Wanganui Rowing Club, 1. Champion Pairs—Picton. 1 ; Stars, 2 ; Wellington, 8. "Won by half a length. For the Ladies' Purse Picton rowed over the course, the other crews having left for Wellington. At a meeting of rowing delegates it was decided that the nest regatta be held not later than the 17tli March. Nothing was decided about New Zealand being represented at the Victorian Regatta in May.
