THE PANAMA FRAUDS.

(Per Preus Association, —(_'ojiyritfht.) Paris, March 29. As the result of the confession of Arton, a Paris banker, in reference to the Panama canal frauds, the Pro-curar-General lias asked the Government to accord facilities for instituting prosecution against the following members of the Chamber : —Deputies .A fa ret, Bayer, and Nog not; also Levey, a member of the Senate.

The Chamber refused to suspend the privileges of the Deputies concerned until Artou's memoranda is produced. The confession affects thirteen of the present members of the Chamber, besides other Deputies since deceased or unseated.
