THE FEDERAL CONVENTION.

THE DEBATE CLOSES ON WEDNESDAY. (Per P/v.v.s A.s-.smrifition.—Cojii/rii/ht.) Adelaide, March 27. It is expected the debate on Mr Barton's resolutions will be brought to a close on Wednesday. The Committees will then get at work and draft a constitution, which is the real work of the Convention.

A good deal of intriguing has been going on to secure an adjournment of the Convention to allow the Premiers to visit England. If this is not brought about it is possible t lie Convention will have to continue without them, and the hulk of opinion of the delegates is dead against any adjournment.
