It has been raining all the morning but at O.ttO tlie weather began to improve and it was decided to begin shooting. The rain gradually took off hut the range is very wet. The prize list in the liawke's Bay match, ten shots at 000 and 000 yards, is as follows :

The Marlborough Match often shots is proceeding, but will not linish until after lunch
Some good shooting in being made in the Marlborough match, both Hall and Hawthorne of Wellington getting within one of the possible, while there are several 18.
The weather litis improved and the light good. The ladies match will be fired til the afternoon.
