The Senate has Mr Hillary, Secretary of the Navy, to arrange for a vessel to carry relief stores from 'Frisco to India.

Dr Koch, who is at present in Cape Colony, has discovered a process which will render cattle secure against the attacks of rinderjiest. He is convinced that it will eradicate the disease*.
