A FIRM MARKET. ;By Telegraph.] (/',/■ Piyxs Association.) Cheistchuhch, This clay. The second wool sale of the season took place to-day, when there was a large attendance of home and foreign buyers. About 14,000 bales were catalogued, the wool being clean, light, and bright. The prices so far obtained were quite up to the level of the November sale, and for exceptionally good wools values were a shade higher. The bulk of the cross-bred and halfbred sold from 7d to 7fd, and up to 8d for superior cross-bred,'and for superior half-bred. Long wool also reached Bd, and good merinos made 6d to 7d, and up to 7for superior.
