In discussing the matter of extra police for Hastings at the Borough Council meeting last evening the Mayor said that he had communicated with the Department through the district officer sometime ago. When he was away he received a reply from Inspector Kmuierson, who fully endorsed his i Mr Fitz.Roy's) communication. Since then, however, nothing has been done in the matter by the Department.
