GENERAL ITEMS. Sydney, July 28. The man Gill, who killed a man by striking him when falling from the gallery of a theatre, has been sentenced to six months' imprisonment on a charge of manslaughter, but the sentence was suspended under the First Offenders' Act. Criminal proceeding have been taken against a number of persons connected with the Mercadool dummying cases.
