Sprigg, Premier, said they must recognise the effect of the Rhodesia revolt on the natives at the Cape. As war was possible, he must refuse to send mounted riiles to Rhodesia, fearing they may be wanted. July '2. Even the Boers are expressing discontent at the decision to remove Mr Cecil Rhodes, and say if he goes so •will they. It is reported that Sir Hercules Robinson is ill, and will, n is feared be unable to return to Cape Colony.
