Library Committee.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Gisborne Public Library wa* held last evening at the Library room. Present: Messrs G. L. Greenwood (in the ohair), Featon, Bourke, Watson, Johnson and Lucas, (Secretary). The number of subscribers on the books was reported as 108, an increase of 10 on last year. A donation of a number of illustrated and other papers was acknowledged from Dr, Innes. It was decided to hold an art exhibition and variety entertainment in February next, and a committee consisting ot Messrs Featon, Watson, Bourke, and Johnson was appointed to see about preliminary arrangements and report to a special meeting to be held on the 19th inst.
