The Vogel Episode.

THE “ BELL’S ” SCURRILOUS ARTICLE BREACH OF PRIVILEGE. I [From our own correspondent.] Wellington, last night. The general- subject of discussion to-day has been the extremely violent article which appeared in the Auckland Bell on the recent Vogel episode [re-printed by us in our last issue] in which the Speaker and others are accused of drunkenness, debauchery, and other atrocities.

It is believed that the question will be made one of privilege, and it is supposed that the Government will move in the matter on the House meeting this evening.
