TWELVE YEARS, London, November if, Neal', the Coventry solicitor, has been sentenced to 12 years for embezzlement. MICHAEL HICKS-BEAOH. Sir Michael Hicks-Beach states that an affection of the eyes prevents him rejoining the Government. ACQUITTED. Samuel Taylor, driver; and Robert Davis, fireman, oil the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire train, have been acquitted of the charge of manslaughter in connection with tha recent collision at the Hesthorpe Junction, whereby five persons were killed.
