Aberdeen backed for £2OOO at 100 to 4. The morning was dull and threatening. The New zfealand and Sydney horses are now all at Flemington,

Silver Prince and Thunderbolt did a mile in very good style, but the former seemed rather sore after.

Esoutoheon also went a mile accompanied by Tranter and Waikawai, the two latter moved freely and finished up well. Enfilade had a good working gallop for a mile and a half. Pakeha was sent onee round fast.

Algerian and Australian Peer covered a mile together at a rattling pace. Spade Guinea and Pasha went a fast mile and a quarter. Abercorn and Trident did some good work.
