Amateur Athletic Club.

The annual meeting of the East Coast Amateur Athletic Club was held at the Albion Hotel on Tuesday evening, there being about twenty present. Mr A. W. Croft took the chair. The secretary (A. W. Kees) read the minutes of the previous meeting, together with the balance sheet, show, log receipts. £29 Is 6d ; expenditure, - £23 15s 6d ; balance in hand, £6 5s —Approved of and passed. Tbe elec tion of officers was then proceeded with. Captain "Winter was re-elected President;Messrs W. F. Crawford, A. "W" Croft, A. Graham, A. C. Arthur, Allan McDonald, J, W. Nolan, and Colonel Simeon were elected VicePresidents. Messrs E. Brown and A. W. Kees were re-elected as treasurer and secretary respectively. The following committee was elected: F. J. Morgan, H. Bull, Bourne, Colebourn, And W. Miller ; auditors : Messrs "W. E. Kenny and J. C. Woodward. Ch account of there being some doubt as to whether some of the new members proposed were amateurs, their election was postponed until next meeting. Messrs F. J- Morgan and A. W. Croft were appointed to try and make arrangements with the Hospital Sports Committee re setting aside races for amateurs.
