Horrible Tragedy.

TWO MAORIS BURNED TO DEATH. Information has reached the Auckland police authorities of a horrible catastrophe that occurred at Whatipu, Manukau Heads, last Monday. A whare occupied by two natives, an old man and a woman, took fire, and the unfortunate people were so severely burned that they died immediately after they had been rescued. Sergeant Green, of Onehunga, is making enquiries.
