HAWAIIAN NEWS.

PEACE RESTORED, (Pbb San Fbancisoo Mail.) The latest news is that King Kalakaua signed a new constitution on the 6th of July, and all is now peaceful. On the advice of the new Ministers, Premier Gibson and his son-in-law Hasleton, who had been confined to the Premier's house under military surveillance, were arrested and put in gaol. The day before the steamer left they were brought up on the charge of squandering public money, and were remanded. The Hon. Audley Coote, who was a through passenger for Hobart by the mail steamer, returns to New Zealand in about two months to negotiate with the Government in reference to the new cable service and other matters. He has been made a Knight Commander by King Kalakaua in recognition of his services in telegraphy and foreign diplomacy.
