BULGARIAN THRONE.
PRINCE FERDINAND WAVERING FRANCE REFUSES TO RECOGNISE THE PRINCE. London, July 20 Prince Ferdinand in a further interview with the Bulgarian deputation, said he feared the adverse influence of the Czar would be a greater hindrance to any effort to promote the welfare of the country than the opposition of tho other Powers. He begged for a fortnight's delay before finally deciding, London, July 21. Prince Ferdinand's unmilitary bearing and his jealousy towards Prince Alexander, and (also his anxiety to conciliate Russia, disappoints the Bulgarian deputation. Prince Ferdinand is averse to accepting the position unless assured he will be favourably received by the Powers. France has refused to recognize Prince Ferdinand as ruler of Bulgaria.
