Foxton, last night. At the next sitting of the Otaki Court the Chairman of the Horowhenua Council is to be sued for £5OO for issuing an incorrect return of the votes polled on the proposal to raise a loan under the Local Bodies Act. Some votes in dispute were allowed, and |the proposal was thus carried by a bare majority.
