Mr. Ballance’s Opponent.
Wanganui, July 7. Mr Gilbert Carson, proprietor of the Wan* ganui Chronicle, addressed a crammed meeting of the electors last night. He was very well received, and a vote of confidence wm passed with few dissentients.
