SMUGGLERS USE SUBMARINE ON ITALIAN LAKE
(Rec. 7.35.) ROME, Nov. 14. Italian frontier police have captured a pocket-submarine on Laxe Como. They state that the vessel was used in running contraband between Italy and Switzerland. It is a tiny craft, about 12-foot long, and is operated by foot pedals. Lake Como is on the Italian-Swiss frontier. .
