TASMANIAN YACHT ARRIVES AT NELSON
P.A. NELSON, November 14. The yacht, Silver Gull, of the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, arrived at Nelson this morning from Port Arthur, Tasmania. owner-skip-per, H. N. Scott, is accompanied by his wife. The Silver Gull left Tasmania on October 30, and she experienced a mixture of good and bad weather on her fortnight’s crossing of the Tasman Sea. Mr Scott said that he and his wife were on a leisurely cruise. After spending several days at Nelson, he intends visiting Pelorus and Queen Charlotte Sounds, before going to Wellington, Auckland and Mayor Island.
