BOY ACCIDENTALLY SHOT IN ARM

When he tripped and fell on a loaded rifle, which discharged, Edward Graham Simmons, 16, of Greymouth, received a bullet through his upper left arm yesterday. Simmons was employed on the farm at the Franz Josef Glacier Hostel, and was carrying a rifle from a shed at the time of the accident. He was taken to a doctor at Wataroa, and then brought on to the Greymouth Hospital and admitted. The authorities reported last night that his condition was satisfactory. *
