Who Blabbed?
The Chief of Staff of the Italian Navy (Admiral Franco Maugeri) has resigned because of protests by fellow admirals at remarks in his recent book entitled, “Out of the Ashes of Disgrace.” Admiral Maugeri alleged that British naval intelligence re* ceived Italian naval secrets directly from high-ranking Italian admirals before the armistice of September S, 1943.'
