Attack by Burmese Rebels

Troops in armoured cars have been rushed to defend the town of Paungde, 140 miles north of Rangoon, which Burmese rebels entered at dawn to-day. A Government communique says the rebels cut the telephone w<res and then rushed the market place. Fighting still continues and more reinforcements are' being rushed to oust the rebels.
