GUINNESS STREET HOUSE FOR WORKINGMEN’S CLUB
A two-storeyed house in Guinness Street, has been purchased by this Greymouth Workingmen’s Club from Mr E. O’Malley, for conversion into a club rooms. The price is believed to be in the vicinity of £1350, and the transaction will be considered shortly by the Westland Land Sales Committee. The club will take over the premises on December 1, and it was hoped to have the club functioning before Christmas.
