Hostility to Malay Communists

LONDON, Oct. 10 It was only a matter of time before the Communist gangs in Malaya were destroyed, said Mr Malcolm MacDonald, Commissioner-General in _ Southeast Asia, when he arrived in London by air to-day. He will be available to participate in the Commonwealth Prime Ministers’ conference. Mr MacDonald said the Communist campaign in Malaya was not representative of the peoples of Malaya. On the contrary, almost all the peoples, including Malayans, Indians and Chinese, were supporting th Government and were strongly hostile ta the Communists, who were entirely recent immigrants of Chinese Oxigm.
