Insurance Against National Disasters
AUCKLAND, October 7. The Minister of Finance Rt. Hon W Nash will consider the recent proposals for a national insurance scheme to cover damage, by natural forces, according to advice received by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. Mr Nash reiterated his opposition to the transfer of earthquake . fund moneys to such a fund, but said: I will be pleased to have the matter gone into to see what can be done in a practical way.”
