N.Z. Contributions For Israeli Planes?
P.A. WELLINGTON, October 7. Mr J. T. Watts (Nat., St. Albans) in the House to-day. gave notice to ask the Minister of Finance if he ha« seen yesterday the report that the planes bought by the Israeli Air I orce from Britain and other countries naa been paid for in distant countries, such as South America and New Zealand. He asked if the Reserve Bank had knowledge of any such transaction taking place through the Nev Zealand banks. If so, would 'the Minister take steps to prevent iutuie transactions of this nature?
