INDOOR BASKETBALL KNOCK-OUT COMPETITION
The first games in the knock-out competition played on Tuesday evening predated basketball of a high standard, a feature of all games being fast and even scoring. Ratbags, A.T.C., and Bobcats are the linalists in the men’s section and Comets, Woolworths and Stars in the women’s. Judging from the evening’s games, the finals tonight will be more than interesting. Results were.—A.T.C. 15 v. Taxes 4; Stars 23 v. Tech Old Girls 20; Ratbags 13 v. Marist 12; Comets 19 v. Certs 13; Bobcats 12 v. Railway 7. Woolworths won from Revingtons. The draw for the finals tonight is: 7.30— Tech O.G. v. Certs. B.o—Comets v. Woolworths semi-final. 8.30— Ratbags v. A.T.C. semi-final.
B.so—Marist v. Taxes. 9.10 —Women’s final.
9.30—Men’s final
