(Our Own Correspondent). The sales of health stamps in the Reetton district on the opening day oi the campaign realised £bu Is. In the ousiness area, Mesdames L. Reinbacher and R. Yellowlees sold £6u .v'orth of stamps and in the Post Office lobby, Mrs A. Hardie collected In a house-to-house effort at Blacks j/oint, Mrs B. Black collected £7. Pupils of the Reefton School ot Mines commenced senior under the Coal Mines’ Act and MetaMines’ Act at Reef ton on Tuesday, xhe examinations conclude to-day. The death occurred yesterday morning m Reefton of Mrs Bridget Ann Joseph aged 75 years. She had been ill for some time. Mrs Bridget was born in New South Wales and cam<. to New Zealand 47 years ago where for many years she conducted a tearoom at Reefton. Predeceased by hei husband 30 years ago, Mrs Joseph n survived by two daughters, Mrs A. McKenzie and Miss P. Joseph, both o. Reefton. The funeral will taxe place at the Suburban cemetery this afternoon, following Requiem Mass at the Sacred Heart Church.
