Timber Shipments From West Coast to Australia

Advice has been received, that Australian purchasers of native timber have agreed to accept the 25 per cent, exchange alteration, but had cancelled all pinus insignis shipments from New Zealand. The third of four shipments of West Coast timber is being taken by the Matthew Flinders this week, and the fourth is due on December 17. This will complete the 5,000,000 super feet the Government promised to give the port for export to Australia. The Matthew Flinders would take 1,200,000 super feet on this trip.
